Be careful what you wish for! I’d say all the other upcoming pieces are either of the same quality as this or better. And they’re all essentially completed except maybe Missouri 6. I’ve already created the project for the prelude to the afternoon of a faun remake. I just can’t think of a name. So in short expect many releases in the coming days.

Thinking of releasing these in quick succession this week and calling it an album. Not sure how that would work cause I’ve never really done any sort of album before but this could be a nice start.

The idea came to me just before bed, I think it’s conception was largely aided by hypnagogia tbh.
Thank you, I’m glad youre enjoying this cohesive sound because that only becomes more apparent as the album goes on! This “special touch” is exactly what I was trying to fully discover/refine when I was working on this project.
My music has been described as airy before actually, interesting that you notice that too. “Evoking emotions” — AHH. Thank you so much, that is my whole goal in releasing music!! If my music is stirring up emotions inside of my audience, then my album has been a success in my eyes.

Philosophizing about what matters.
I relate to what you're saying here! Deep thoughts about the state of the world, overthinking, caring for people around us, or people in general, feeling somewhat helpless, hoping for better days, questioning ourselves as what our impact is, what could be if we took a different direction down the path of life. What could be tomorrow if today we take certain decisions.

I hope you find peace and serenity despite all of this.
Meanwhile it acts as fuel for beautiful music like this!

[Transitions]

This transitional period of your life transposed into a very beautiful composition. I would say one of my favorite of yours. As always lovely harmonies and melodies, and "troubled" passages that are very evocative of change and depression. You successfully manage to express yourself through your piano. If it has the same impact on you as it does for me, then I'm sure it helps you navigate through these rough waters with more ease. A refuge where you can let go of the pressure building up in your mind when needed... If it makes sense ^^

I wish you find peace as an outcome to this transitional period!
Maybe we rarely get out of these turbulences unscathed, but in the end they are what shape us into who we are. Maybe getting out of it with a little scar, but stronger, with more experience, wisdom.

Thank you, and thank you for the well-wishes! What you said makes perfect sense. It does help a lot to write and play, even if I don't fully realize a new song, it's cathartic and a break from everything else. The times where I can get completely lost in it that a day passes in what feels like only minutes are the best times (and sometimes really productive as well, but that's just a bonus). I wholeheartedly agree- every experience shapes who we are. Thank you, again :)

Pretty nice! I like the way you use contrast throughout. I don't know why but it reminded me of the music in the anno series at times, the music in these games is beautiful, so is yours!

At the rate you're improving, it really shows that you truly have a passion for music! Imposter syndrome can always be there, and can be somewhat good up to a point to push ourselves further, but never let it get the last word! You clearly can, and do make nice music! ^^

Very nice! As always you've got this nice storytelling aspect as in most of your compositions.
The contrast you created at 0:45 is very enjoyable, a more jumpy, happy mood. In between two sections that are a bit more introspective. I don't don't know what imagery was going on in your mind but it makes me think of love and playfulness. Well done!

Thanks so much! Yeah, I felt like it needed a little contrast. For the first part, I imagined just rain falling outside a window- sort of gray, quiet stillness of it. The lighter section, I thought of a raindrop's path as it rolls along leaves and branches, maybe dripping onto a window pane, rolling down the glass and continuing rolling on its fast pace until it finally drips off a ledge and into a puddle. Playfulness was one thing on my mind for that section- it brought some levity. :)
